HOW WE WORK
The Dumont Standard
Selected for character. Examined for condition. Presented with intention.
Four commitments that govern what enters the collection and how it is described.
I — Selection
We buy what we would keep. A piece enters the collection for its design and its condition, not for the name on the dial.
II — Condition
Case, dial, hands and movement are assessed separately. We state what is known and what is not, including faults visible only under a loupe.
III — Servicing
Where a watch has been serviced by our watchmaker we say so and supply documentation. Where it has not, we say that instead.
IV — Discretion
Enquiries, viewings and sales are handled privately. Nothing is published about a client or a transaction.
